Fourza Saturday, Anyone?

At 8 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow tonight, I will be hosting a Forza 4 lobby entitled 'Oppo'. Any and all are welcome to join. Here are some ideas so far, I'm sure you guys can think of better ones:

1. Trans-Am Series race around Laguna Seca/Road America/Road Atlanta/any 'murican track (I have like 8 of these cars so from Mustangs to Camaros to 'Cudas so if anyone likes this idea but needs a car I can send one to them)

2. R1-class race around the Nurburgring... no assists (gasp!)

3. Spec-Zonda R race around the Nurburgring (see if we can top 6:47)

4. Ferrari 330 vs. Ford GT40 at Le Mans

5. Radical SR8's up Fujimi Kaido

Again these are just some ideas of mine, I'm sure you guys can come up with many more exciting and interesting ones. Also, I know there are a few of us on here who have just gotten Forza 4 and may not have the garage more experienced players have, so if anyone needs a car or anything to participate in our races, please let me know. I have enough money and I'd be more than happy to send a few cars to anyone who needs them.

Also 8p.m. is just an arbitrarily-chosen time. I know we have some West Coast Opponauts on here, so if a later time would work for anyone please don't hesitate to ask.

I can't make it, company Christmas party, but I'll give you an idea for a great race.

Custom race, multi-class with four classes AI on pro. E,D,C,B, slowest launches first, followed by the others in ~20 second intervals, I don't remember exactly. The point is you want all the non-AI players in B class to have to wait close to 60 seconds before they start.

Works best on medium length tracks like Iberian full. 6 laps, any class can start the countdown timer. 1 minute once that starts.

If you get it set right, you have to pass everyone to win the race. It's a challenge, and if you have lots of people in the room, anyone in a lower class will make it even more difficult.

I also have settings for an Elimination event where you are in a lower class and get chased by the AI in better cars, with only a slight head-start. Also makes for great racing.

I'm not sure if anyone would do well lol. That's why it'll be interesting, it won't be who's the fastest, but who can crash the least.

The trick with that is to use an underpowered car, like the stock Chevy R1's with only 400hp or the Furai.

Also, never shift below 3rd.

I'll send an FR later tonight, I'm mackleroy45. My Trans-Am cars are A-class with max tire size, race suspension, brakes, weight reduction, roll cage, front splitter and rear wing, with power upgrades added last to get you to 600, so maybe something along those lines?

That sounds fair enough. I have some road race muscle but I can't remember off hand what class they are in. I have the necessary funds and cars so that shouldn't be an issue. I like this idea.
